Confused about when to use tasks vs. subtasks in Asana? I like to think of a task as a “unit of work” and subtasks as checklist to show the smaller steps that need to be completed in order to complete the parent task. Subtasks are especially useful if you need to involve multiple people in a task to complete certain steps.
