Click the links below to add the following automated workflows to your own Zapier account.

  • New Task in Project » Create Subtask(s): When a new task is added to a project, this Zap creates a list of subtasks. This is a useful Zap to get around some of the limitations with Asana's built-in ‘rules' feature that is quite basic.
  • Calendly Booking » Create Task & Subtasks in Asana: When you receive a booking via Calendly, create a new task and subtasks in Asana. You could customise this Zap to work with other scheduling tools like Schedule Once.
  • Pipedrive Deal Won » Create Asana Task & Subtask(s): Use this Zap to create a new tasks and subtasks in Asana when a deal in Won in Pipedrive. You could customise this Zap to work with other CRM's like SalesForce or Hubspot.
  • Pipedrive Deal Won » Duplicate Asana Project Template: This Zap allows you to duplicate an Asana project (e.g. a template) when a Pipedrive deal is Won. The trigger step could be changed so you can duplicate the project from another CRM or process.
  • Create a Task Using Alfred » Create a Task in Asana: If you use Alfred on the Mac, you can quickly create tasks in Asana using this handy workflow. Click here to download the corresponding Alfred workflow.
  • Task Completed » Send Email via Gmail: This Zap is triggered when a task is completed in Asana and then sends an email. This could be used to update a client when an important milestone is complete. To customise this workflow, you'll need to add a filter so the Zap doesn't run all the time. You'll also need to add a field to Asana to store the email address that you'd like to send the message to.

More coming soon… If you have any ideas of things to automate in Asana, please let me know and I will add to this library…
